Safeguarding and Player Care Officer
Class Teacher/Head of P.E. – 8 years – Full-time education
Humility – It’s important to show the ability to listen to other people’s concerns and put the wellbeing of players at the forefront of people’s thinking.
My weekly tasks involve:
Primarily being the point of contact for any concerns raised from a player, parent or staff member linked to the academy.
I also work as part of the Player Care team, primarily working with the Foundation Phase, Pre-Academy and Girls and Women’s teams.
It’s a great atmosphere around Compton and I have enjoyed getting to know the players and parents in the early days that I have been working at Wolves.
Due to me recently starting this role, my main aspiration is to embed myself into the Academy and become part of the furniture.
