Humble – Often in a leadership role the visual perception is that you are there because you have more knowledge and experience than the people you work with. In some cases this may be true, however I believe that having humility in situations and showing vulnerability allow people I work with the flourish.
Examples include ask people around me who have better expertise in an area to input rather than pretend I have the knowledge. Its then important to want to learn and improve.
No previous professional playing experience.
Weekly tasks include

Working with the players. Every year you get different characters that help to keep each year fresh. Especially when you have been coaching so long having good quality players that are enthusiastic about learning is what I enjoy most.
Two routes i see myself pursuing include, to create and deliver a bespoke Technical program for local communities.
Continue on in teaching with a PGCE qualification that would allow me to go into teaching in a school.
Going into my 13th season I think its important that I continue to show commitment to the club, giving the players a solid member of staff. I will endeavour to do this once again for our club. Hopefully paving the way for more of our young players to progress.
