Wolves under-21s welcome Stoke City to Aggborough, with a place in the quarter-final of the Premier League Cup up for grabs.
The old gold progressed through the group stage as winners, collecting 15 points from a possible 18.
That record earnt James Collins’ side a home draw in the round of 16 where they meet the Potters, who finished second behind Arsenal in Group G.
Kevin Russell’s men edged out Burnley by a point, after winning two and drawing three of their six group stage matches.
Wolves will be looking to replicate their run in the competition last season, which took them all the way to the final and unfortunately ended in defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
They come into the game on the back of a narrow 1-0 defeat to Liverpool in PL2, where the visitors netted late on through Oakley Cannonier’s goal six minutes from time.
Meanwhile, Stoke currently sit second bottom in PL2 Division 2 as the two sides prepare for a first meeting since last season’s play-off final in which the old gold won 2-0 to secure promotion to the top tier.
