Papa John’s Trophy action takes centre stage as Wolves under-21s host Manchester United under the lights at Molineux on Tuesday evening.
Please note, due to broadcasting restrictions, Tuesday’s Papa John’s Trophy fixture with Manchester United will not be live streamed, but supporters can listen to live audio commentary.
The round of 32 gets underway following a successful group stage campaign for James Collins’ side, who beat both Shrewsbury Town and Stockport County to reach the knockouts.
Meanwhile, Man Utd were winners of Group G after picking up seven points in their group with Barrow, Fleetwood Town and Carlisle United.
Both sides recently met in Premier League 2, with the Red Devils coming out on top, winning 3-2 in a five-goal thriller last month.
There is little to separate Wolves and Man Utd in PL2 this season, but the old gold slightly have the edge being four points and two places above their opponents.
Collins’ men will step out onto the Molineux turf for the second time in four days following Saturday’s defeat to Porto B in the Premier League International Cup.
The outcome of the tie will be decided on the night and should it end level after 90 minutes, penalty kicks will be taken to determine a winner.

WHAT THE BOSS THINKS
“We’re a development programme that get to play in certain fixtures throughout the season which are about winning. It’s great for our boys because that’s their next step – going into a winning culture, whether that’s our first team or a loan.
“What a brilliant fixture. Manchester United here, under the lights. It’s always a tough fixture and we played them recently, coming on the wrong side of a 3-2.
“What I do know is that they won’t be in a deep block quite like Porto were on Saturday, which was another different challenge.
“They’ll probably offer a bit more threat going the other way, so we’ve got to defend how we did on Saturday which I thought was very good for the majority. We’ve then got to exploit the space a little bit more than we did Saturday.”
