Wolves under-21s travel to champions Manchester City to play their final game of the PL2 season on Saturday afternoon.
Please note, due to Premier League broadcasting restrictions, Saturday afternoon’s Premier League 2 Division 1 fixture with Man City will not be live streamed.
James Collins’ side require just a point to confirm their division one status for the 2023/24 campaign, which would secure a second successive season in the top flight.
Wolves are currently three points above the drop zone with one game to play – Tottenham Hotspur occupy the final relegation spot and don’t play their final fixture until next Sunday.
The old gold come into the game on the back of a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace, which saw Nathan Fraser score a hat-trick.
Meanwhile, Manchester City have already wrapped up the league title having accumulated 53 points from their 24 games played so far.
A run of just one defeat in 14 has seen City comfortably pick up their third title on the bounce, with league top scorer Carlos Borges their main source of goals on 19.
In the reverse fixture at Compton Park, Joe Hodge gave Wolves an early lead, before the visitors eventually ran out 3-1 winners.

WHAT THE BOSS SAID
“We’ve got to play well. Sometimes you get away with six or seven playing well but against Man City, 11 have to play well and you need a bit of luck as well because they’re top players.
“They’ve got some of the world’s best players. They play good football, they’re well run and they’ve got the money to back that up. They buy good players and they produce good players.
“One of the reasons we want to stay in the league isn’t because we can’t produce players in the league below, it’s because you want to test yourselves against the very best.
“Man City are, if not the very best, one of the very best in world football and we’ve got to go there with confidence, belief, but we’re going to have to play well. If you don’t, they bulldoze teams in this league and we don’t want to be one of them.”
