Four academy youngsters have been called up to represent their nations in the latest October international break.
Lewys Benjamin, Ethan Sutherland, Mateus Mane and Leon Huxley will all head to camps this month.
Goalkeeper Benjamin has received his first call-up to the Wales under-21s squad as Matty Jones and his side look to create history.
Cymru are preparing to complete their UEFA U21 EURO 2025 qualifying campaign on Friday 11th October against Czechia at Rodney Parade.
With 14 points from seven games, Wales currently sit second in Group I behind Denmark and a positive outcome will result in a play-off place or automatic qualification for the finals in Slovakia next year.
Wales have never qualified for the U21 EURO finals, but bettering Denmark’s result will secure automatic qualification and Benjamin will be hoping to play his part in achieving that. The Dragons also play a friendly fixture against Slovakia four days later.
Once again in action for Scotland’s under-19s is Sutherland, as the left-back links up with his country for an international friendly double-header against Hungary.
Neil MacFarlane’s side travel to Hungary for both matches, which are set to take place at the DEAC Stadium in Debrecen on Thursday 10th October and Sunday 13th October.
Despite receiving two call-ups this month, Mane will travel to Marbella to compete in a four-team tournament with England under-18s.
Mane was also selected in Portugal’s under-18 squad, but will face Sweden with the Young Lions, before taking on the winner of a match between Ukraine and the Netherlands.
Finally, youngster Huxley is part of a Wales under-15s squad set to travel to Bulgaria for a UEFA Development Tournament this month.
