The Wolves International programme offers clubs / teams / associations and coaches the chance to learn about the Wolves way. With our partnerships we are committed to helping and supporting our partners, both physically and online. Our Academy and Football Development staff will travel internationally to deliver in country for players and coaches. We also welcome our partners to our Compton training facility to enjoy some elite coaching and potential matches.

Our partnership with Chicago City has been ongoing since 2021, the Chicago City staff have enjoyed regular education sessions delivered by the Wolves Academy senior staff, coaching team, analysis, recruitment and sports science departments.

Our partnership has seen staff from Wolverhampton travel to Chicago to work with players / teams at all levels.

The partnership will continue to grow, with more Wolves / Chicago City activities been planned.

BSI Football Academy – South Africa, Joburg

The BSI Football Academy enables players to take their football to the next level through professional training in an environment modeled on the leading football academies in Europe.  We develop talented and hard-working players and create local and international pathway opportunities for them to fulfill their footballing ambitions through our network of coaches and partner academies.

ACADEMY STAFF
The Academy staff is led by UEFA Pro Licenced coach Zeca Marques, and each staff member is a qualified professional who works with the players in various areas of development. The coaching and support staff includes Eurico Marques (Director of Performance and Physiotherapist), Dave Thorpe (Head of Football Development, UEFA B licensed Coach), Shuaib Walters (GK and EDP coach), Marianke van der Merwe (Sports Scientist), and Enziwe Maphosa (Academy administrator).

PROGRAMS

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (U8-U13)
The part-time BSI Football Junior Development Program for U8-U13 provides the opportunity for young aspiring footballers to experience a professional training environment modeled on the leading football academies in Europe. The age-specific program combines football training and athletic development to develop well-rounded young people for long-term success in life and on the football pitch.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (U14-U19)
The YDP program combines professional football training and athletic development with quality high school education and an emphasis on character development. The goal is to develop well-rounded young people for success on the football pitch and in life.

ELITE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (U23)
This program provides professional football training and development for players who have finished high school and wish to further their progress toward their full potential.  The intensive schedule includes high-level technical, tactical, and fitness training as we strive to take the players’ games to a professional standard.
