Wolves under-18s played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with their ETO FC Gyor counterparts on Saturday.
As part of their pre-season schedule in Slovakia, Richard Walker’s side travelled the hour or so distance across the Hungarian border to play their first friendly of the summer.
Walker, who was taking charge of the under-18s for the first time since his recent appointment, used the game as an opportunity to build minutes into the legs of his players and experiment.
With a number of players now transitioning up to under-21s football, the group included some fresh faces, along with last season’s regular features as Hayden Carson skippered the side in the heart of the defence.
The under-18s face Budapest Honved back at their Bratislava training base on Wednesday and you can see pictures of Saturday’s match and the players hard at work in training in the image gallery below.
