Wolves under-21s return to PL2 action with the visit of Arsenal to Compton Park on Monday afternoon.
James Collins’ side are aiming to halt a run of four successive defeats in the competition and rise back up the league table.
The old gold exited the Premier League Cup last week following a 3-2 victory against Stoke City, despite twice fighting back.
Opponents Arsenal currently sit fourth in PL2, eight points off leaders Manchester City with two games in hand.
In their last league fixture, the Gunners were beaten in the North London derby by Tottenham Hotspur, but picked up three points over Leicester City prior to that.
Earlier in the season, the two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Boreham Wood with Oliver Tipton’s first half penalty cancelled out by James Sweet in the second 45.
Three points for Wolves could lift Collins’ men as high as tenth, with as many games left to play following Monday’s encounter.
