Wolves’ under-21s Premier League Cup tie at Sunderland was abandoned due to extreme fog on Monday evening.
The two sides did their best to battle the conditions, but midway through the first-half the referee made the decision, in the interest of safety for both sets of players.
The Black Cats were leading the tie 1-0 thanks to Caden Kelly’s early penalty, given for a foul by Kam Kandola on Ethan Kachosa.
Further information on the rearranged tie will be announced in due course.
