Wolves to host Leicester in FA Youth Cup

Wolves have been drawn at home to Leicester City in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

The old gold enjoyed a commendable run to the semi-final stage last season, before losing to eventual winners Manchester United at Old Trafford in March.

Salford City, Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion were all dispatched of following a valiant effort in the prestigious youth competition last time out, which saw Wolves reach the final four for the first time since 2005.

The 18s have started the 2022/23 season in strong form, winning four of their opening seven matches in the U18 Premier League North to see them up to fourth in the table.

Meanwhile, Leicester currently sit 10th in the south division having picked up seven points from as many games.

The tie will be played by Saturday 17th December, with full details of the fixture to be confirmed in due course.
