Wolves under-23s have a tough test ahead of them if they are to bounce back from the heavy defeat to Norwich City earlier this week when they take on Fulham this evening.
James Collins’ side will take on the Premier League 2 Division 2 leaders at Motspur Park from 7pm on Friday night, but will be hoping to not replicate their last performance which saw the side fall to a 5-0 loss to the Canaries.
With four matches in 13 days, Collins has already stated the need for rotation in his young squad, with changes expected to be made from the team which started at Aggborough on Monday night.
Wolves will be hoping to rediscover the form which saw them earn successive victories in their previous pair of matches, where his side overcame Birmingham City and Swansea City.
However, it will be a difficult task as the gold and black travel to the league leaders, who have lost just one game this season – which incidentally came against Wolves in September, but they have since won six PL2 fixtures on the bounce.
Owen Hesketh and Chem Campbell’s goals helped Collins’ side to victory that day at Aggborough, so Wolves will believe they can repeat that performance to inflict another defeat on the young Cottagers side.

WHAT THE BOSS THINKS
Ahead of visiting London on Friday evening, James Collins is preparing to rotate his pack during what is a busy schedule for his side.
“Most of the players are fit, but we’ve got four games in 13 days. With Hugo [Bueno], he’s had a hamstring and has only just got back, Tippo’s [Ollie Tipton] coming back from an injury so will play those four games, but to try and win games, we’re not going to put players out on the pitch and break them
“What we’ve had to do over these last two games and the next two, is juggle the team around a little bit. That maybe means we’re not putting our strongest team out onto the pitch each game, and hopefully they’re competitive.
“There will be changes again on Friday as there is also the Youth Cup game the account for next week. We’ll select the team on merit, but also try to look after them as well.”
