2 min read

Wolves under-21s host Everton in Premier League 2 at Aggborough on Friday evening.

The Old Gold will be looking for a response following Monday’s 4-1 defeat at Derby County, which saw the visitors four down at the break.

Fletcher Holman scored his fourth goal of the season in the second period, but it was too little too late for James Collins’ side who were beaten in the East Midlands.

Prior to Monday’s loss, Wolves were on a positive run of form having lost just once in six games in all competitions.

Last time out at Aggborough, the youngsters scored four themselves having clinically dispatched of Leeds United as Caden Voice, Dani Angel, Holman and Edozie all found the net.

Visitors Everton have collected eight points from their opening five PL2 fixtures, and are currently placed in 11th position in the table.

Their only league defeat this season came at Manchester City, while the Toffees drew 3-3 at home to Reading in their last outing on Monday.
