Four academy youngsters are in international action for their countries throughout the current break having received call-ups.

Goalkeeper Lewys Benjamin has once again linked up with Wales under-19s for their three UEFA U19 European Championship qualifying round fixtures.

The under-18 stopper kept a clean sheet in the first game against Austria in a goalless draw, with games versus England and hosts Montenegro still to come.

Defender Marvin Kaleta is away with DR Congo under-20s for their international friendly double header with Tunisia.

The first game takes place on Friday (13th October) afternoon, while the two sides will go head-to-head once again on Monday 16th October.

Bjorn Marwa has completed two friendly fixtures for Norway under-17s, as they faced England twice this week.

The Three Lions were 3-0 victors in the first game on Wednesday as Marwa came on for the final 13 minutes, before Norway claimed a 2-2 draw two days later at St. George’s Park.

Elsewhere, David Osifo was called-up to the Austria under-16s squad for two friendly matches against Slovenia on Wednesday and Friday of this week.

Osifo started, played 67 minutes and claimed an assist in the first game, a 6-1 victory, before coming on for the final 22 minutes on Friday as Austria claimed another win, this time by two goals to one.
